Afghan Taliban leader Mulla Omar said late on Wednesday night that he had presented two points to the United States and its allies for talks.
According to a private TV channel, Mulla Omar, in a statement, said that he had offered release of US troops after the States release Afghan nationals languishing in infamous prison of United States, Guantanamo Bay.
However, the US state department said that no decision had yet been made on releasing the Taliban detainees from the prison.
