A couple on Thursday allegedly killed their 11-year-old servant here in Sector G/13 in the limits of Golra police station. The house owner, Mudassir Abbas who works in NESOM phoned the police that his servant had committed suicide and his body was lying in his room. A police team reached the scene and found Zeeshan Ali’s body hanging with the curtain of a window under mysterious circumstances.
Police said it was a planned murder as there were clear marks around the boy’s neck and it seemed he was tortured. “It’s a planned murder and we are probing it,” said Sub Inspector Chaudhry Aslam who is investigating the case. The police said Zeeshan had been working at Mudassir’s house for the last two years. Later, the father of the deceased, Gulam Shabbir, lodged a murder case against Mudassir and his wife. Both the alleged killers have been arrested and further investigation is in progress. The body was handed over to the family after autopsy.
