The country is plunged into natural, political and economic disasters and there have been much heated debates on these topics in order to end these evils from the society. However, there is one more nuisance to which our society is subjected and that is the growing rate of aggression which the citizens of Pakistan and especially those of the metropolitan city Karachi are facing every day.
Though this aspect has not yet been under serious consideration, it is becoming a colossal problem for the general public as there is a very low tolerance rate amongst the people and this is leading to serious malfunctioning of the society where individuals are now willing to fight and physically abuse each other on the smallest of issues.
This increasing trend of aggression is very alarming and requires serious attention from the concerned authorities to psychologically rehabilitate people and assist them from the problems of stress, depression, anxiety and moral panic which envelops the society today due to fundamental lack of justice, security and basic necessities for the masses.
Until and unless the people as well as the authorities work in coalition to eliminate this social issue, the problem will remain dominant in the society, creating an inhumane environment for all who dwell in the city, in particular, and the country at large.
