President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani greeted Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) chief Nawaz Sharif on his birthday on December 25. The president and the prime minister sent bouquets and expressed their good wishes for Nawaz Shairf. This was the first formal contact between the government and the leader of the largest opposition party in the parliament after a long time.
