A man thrashed his wife and shaved her head over a domestic dispute in the precincts of Shahzad Town Police Station.
Police said on Wednesday that Madiha had married Ali, a resident of Khokhar Road, three months ago. But after a few days, Ali started levelling allegations against Madiha as he humiliated and beaten her up regularly.
Badar Munir, the investigation officer, said three days ago, Ali beaten up his wife and shaved her head.
“Later, Madiha runaway to her parent’s house and they registered an FIR against Ali”, he said.
He said Madiha’s parents alleged that Ali was a drug addict and he made baseless accusations against her daughter.
Babar said police was conducting raids for arresting Ali.
