The daily Pakistan Today of Sunday, 18 December, 2011 has reported that America is putting great pressure on Pakistan to abandon the Iran gas pipeline project. In this regard, all and sundry (civil society, lawyers, all parliamentarians, students, labour and middle class) are requested to stand behind the government to ensure that American designs are not successful, to deprive Pakistan from meeting it’s legitimate energy requirements from Iran. Remember, for Pakistan it’s a matter of life and death.
