It’s monarchy in Pakistan, not democracy, says Imran

The leadership of Pakistan’s political parties is being passed on like sceptres from father to son like in a monarchy, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan said on Saturday.
Khan said both the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) had passed on the leadership of their parties from one family member to another, Geo News reported.
At a political rally in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the former cricketer was referring to the PPP’s first chairman Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, who was succeeded by his wife Nusrat Bhutto and later by his daughter Benazir Bhutto.
After the assassination of Benazir in December 2007, the party was led by her husband, Asif Ali Zardari, who passed on the mantle to their 23-year-old son Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
Similarly, the PML-N is led by former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, whose brother Shahbaz Sharif is a key party member and the chief minister of Punjab. Shahbaz Sharif’s son Hamza Shahbaz is also an important party leader as well as an MP and now Nawaz’s daughter Maryam Nawaz was also being launched in politics.
Khan said this was not democracy, as “the political parties are being run like dynasties”.

  So, basically you are disqualifying Imran Khan on the basis of his age. It is imran Khan's "views" on how to attain a progressive Pakistan that young people like. pmln and ppp suffered a lot on this pith. Benazir father Zulfiqar Ali Bhutfo was hanged his daughter murdered. Nawaz Sharif a primeminister of 2/3 majority hardly passed 2 years in office and the man who built motorway and declared pakistan an atomic power was arrested banded his hand with seat of a plan ousted sentenced life time prison and then sent to in exile for 10 years. Imran did not experienced such things.

Imran is very true.no lcal body elections since so called democracy came.both ppp and nawaz league both failed to go for local body elections.what a shame democracy?isnot it?all mnas are mahrarajas,they take develomental funds,rather these funds should be used through local governments to solve peoples problems.mnaz should not be given single penny excep for their salaries….ppp and nwaz league are going through the phase of transfering thier parties to their next generation….so very true is mr imran…dont you see this happening in front of your eyes………..open your eyes o people of pakistan….

we should all know that PPP and especially PML N has started to pay people to come online and start saying anti-Imran and anti-PTI things. Shahbaz Sharif apparently has started to distribute laptops in Lahore so that 'youth' can say they are with PML-N. These 'supporters' have all been paid off. It is important, however, as PTI supporters to always tell the truth about them on all forums.

The real story is : IMRAN KHAN IS THE NEXT PM OF OUR BELOVED COUNTRY!
