Brothers-in-law kill man

A man was killed by his brothers-in-law over domestic issues in Race Course police jurisdiction. Police has arrested accused Naveed and Saeed with murdering weapons. The victim was identified as 55 years old Muhammad Naseer a resident of Basti Seedan Shah. According to details, the victim used to beat his wife, whose brothers tried to pacify him many times. However, on Wednesday Naseer had another quarrel with his wife which infuriated her brothers who injured him with knives. The victim succumbed to injuries in a hospital.
ACCIDENT: A 25-year-old boy lost his life when his speeding motorbike hit a wall in Chung police limits on Tuesday. The deceased was identified as Nadeem Masih, a resident of Sher Shah Colony, Wasanpura. Nadeem was rashly driving his bike when he lost control and hit a wall.
MAN KILLED: A 40-year-old man was crushed by a speeding car in Badami Bagh area. The deceased, yet to be identified, was crossing a road when a speeding car hit him from behind. As a result, he received serious injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
BODIES RECOVERED: Two persons were recovered dead from Harbanspura and Bhatti Gate police limits on Tuesday. A 60-year-old man was lying dead near Fatah Ghar Harbanspura and 55-year-old man near Circular Road Bhatti Gate. Police claimed that both men had died of cold.
BUILDING COLLAPSE: Three laborers were injured in when an under-constructino building collapsed at Amir Road in Shadbagh police precincts. According to details, a resident of Bund Road Shahbaz had leased a construction work of three storey building to Muhammad Aslam who employed 20 years old Makhdom, 21 years old Aslam and 35 years old Abdul Sattar for labor work. On Wednesday, the laborers were injured when building suddenly collapsed and sustained severe injuries. According to locals, use of substandard construction material caused building to come down while contractor Aslam fled from scene.
FIRE: Auto spare parts worth thousands of rupees were burnt to ashes in a fire that broke out on Mecload Road on Tuesday. No casualty was reported in the said incident.
