Police arrest school teacher for ‘harassing children’: report


NAROWAL: Police on Wednesday arrested a school teacher for being allegedly involved in harassing his students, according to a local English daily.

The case was registered at the complaint of the parents of these children. According to the details, the teacher allegedly assaulted five students, studying in class-III, IV and V at a government primary school, and showed them inappropriate content on his phone or laptop.

The parents lodged a complaint against the teacher on Wednesday, who is in his mid-50s and is the acting headmaster of the school.

According to two students, this behaviour of the teacher had been going on for the last two years. Police have registered a case and arrested the suspect.
