Mansoor Ijaz, the US-based Pakistani businessman, has rejected reports that Zardari was aware of the controversial memo.
According to the media reports, Mansoor Ijaz stepped back from one of his claims and said that President Asif Ali Zardari was unaware of the memo.
He rejected reports claiming that there was some understanding between Zardari and Husain Haqqani regarding the memo sent to Mike Mullen.
Ijaz claimed that the president might have spoken to Husain Haqqani about the pressure on him after the Abbottabad raid, hence asking the latter to help him out in this regard. He rejected the idea of any missing links in the memo chain.
It is pertinent to mention here that in his article published in the “Financial Times”, Ijaz had claimed that he had drafted and delivered a memo to Admiral Mullen with the help of a top diplomat on President Zardari’s instructions.

I think this man is confused and is a big bag of lies. Why on earth should Husain Haqqani do a stupid thing like this of his own accord.

PML N through out has a policies, election campaigns based on propaganda, Imran khan is third largest force of country, He has sources like others, which told him about Haqqani , One thing I would like to share with PML fellows, how would Nawaz Sharif know that Mumbai terrorists including Kasav have Pakistan origins after one week, and Kim Barbker wrote in her book Tailiban Shuffle that Nawaz sharif was first Pakistani who told her this, and she mentioned Nawaz Sharif as source, So what is the point in that, mean that RAW was dictating Nawaz Sharif.
To many only one thing is enough to show that Mr. Mansoor Ijaz is a liar. A week after the OBL affair the Army was in the worst possible situation to take over, the whole country was asking questions about whether it was incompetent, complicit or sleeping. President Zaradari or even HH would have to be proven insane to have done this at that time. Q.E.D. for many out there.
