Senior Federal Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi has warned that no one would be allowed to use national crisis to eke out political mileages.
Talking to a delegation of party activists, headed by PML-Q youth wing of Punjab Vice President Muhammad Omar Asghar Geolika, the minister strongly derided any endeavor to use national crisis as a springboard for political mileages.
He declared that such an endeavor as akin to playing with the integrity, sovereignty and reputation of the federation, and said that the present government was bent on strengthen democratic norms in the country.
He warned that any future government trying to destabilize the current government would be forsaking the system and its very own existence as well.
He added that PML-Q had agreed to join hands with PPPP, despite severe ideological differences, for the sake of the federation, while PML-N leaders always endeavored to create chaos through their acts and statements.
He stressed on PML-N to eschew such negative tactics and refrain from their practices.
He also impressed the fact that the not-so-weak incumbents would complete their legal tenure and general elections would also be held on their due time.
The PML-Q minister said that the political influence of Sharif brothers was waning fast, and they had no political future in the country.
