Government has now announced to give Saturday off due to loadshedding. They have given up and admitted that they’re unable to cope with crises of electricity, so now they’ll make the economy go more down by reducing the work days in the offices too. The solution for energy crisis is not giving an extra day off at all. Do they suggest that they will turn off the water supply to all homes due to water crisis?
There won’t be much of production by giving two days off, plus the demand will increase and supply will decrease, this will affect the economy. If people do not waste resources on weekends like money, electricity, they can help in stablising the country’s economy.
They should focus more on improving the current electricity supply system too. The government should think of investing in solar energy systems. This is likely to be a one-time investment.
Pakistan has plenty of land space which can be utilised for generating power from the sun, plus in Sindh we have plenty of coal resources through which we can create electricity, but the government is not thinking of putting one-time investment to make the economy more stable.
