Playing with students’ future

In our country, education has always been given priority in our thoughts and theories only, but despite many education policies, it has not been made accessible to all the children in the country on one pretext or the other.

The system has many loopholes that cause trouble every so often. This is evident in the recent debacle in Punjab when the government cancelled the results of intermediate students of at least four boards. This shows how much efforts we are putting in making our country a better one. In the name of progress, we are causing even more damage to the best asset of our country: the youth. Development of a country solely depends on education and high literacy rate. The quantum leap of knowledge, especially in science and computer technology, has firmly interlinked education and human development. Modern science has transformed population explosion into human capital through education. A very few graduates can express themselves in correct English as they fail to comprehend the advanced books being used in their syllabus.
