FRESH launches RSS

Foundation for Rehabilitation & Education of Special Children (FRESH) has marked its seventh foundation day with the launch of Remedial School System for students having learning problems in mainstream schools of country. FRESH Chief Operating Officer Ashba Kamran cut the cake with staff and school children. The management had organised entertainment for the students. A strong turn out of parents, social luminaries, academics and psychiatrists was witnessed. Speaking on the occasion, Ashba said the Remedial School caters to all school going children having specific or generalised learning barriers. She said it was known that between 15 and 20% of all school children have some form of learning disability. She said the children require full-time remediation, either for a limited period,or throughout their school careers.
