LAHORE – A constitutional petition has been moved in the Supreme Court’s Lahore Registry for disallowing NATO and ISAF to use Afghan Transit Trade (ATT) agreement for the import of its commercial or non- commercial goods to Afghanistan without payment of custom duties or showing invoices of the goods packed in the foreign containers.
The petition was filed by Watan Party Punjab President Shaukat Khan through Barrister Zafar Ullah submitting that since NATO and ISAF are using Afghan Transit Trade (ATT) to destabilise Pakistan by smuggling all sorts of ware-weapons in sealed containers that fall into the hands of terrorists operating in Peshawar, Balochistan, Karachi and other volatile area, instead of reaching Pakistan.
