In order to enhance mutual cooperation, combat terrorism, and to develop an effective strategy to deal with crime, an interactive meeting was held between the visiting Turkish National Police delegation and Punjab Police at the Punjab Police Headquarters on Tuesday. Punjab Police Inspector General Javed Iqbal, Welfare and Finance Addl IG Aftab Sulta, Punjab Addl IG Tanvir Ahmad, Training Addl IG Sarmed Saeed, R&D Addl IG Khuda Bakish Awan, Addl IG Investigation Mohammad Azam Joyia, Faisalabad RPO Aftab Ahmad Cheema and Training AIG Raja Rifat attended the meeting. Ahmet Pek and his delegation were also present.
Political assistant to the Punjab CM Col (r) Shuja Khanzada also attended the meeting. During the meeting the Turkish delegation expressed their views about their visits to various police institutions, and praised their methodical and meticulous working.
