Building trust

The gap between the federal capital and the province of Balochistan is getting wider and wider day by day. Over the period of time, the grievances of the people of Balochistan, has increased rather than being addressed or otherwise.

One of the major issues the people of Balochistan have against the government is that they feel that they have been under the direct control of military throughout the decades, rather than civil authorities. The province as well as the people of Balochistan is drifting away from the rest of country and the current government should take necessary steps to ensure that their problems are addressed.

The government should realise that the military should take a back seat in the province of Balochistan and that the police should be given proper authority according to the law and constitution of the country so that the feeling that they are being controlled by army and not by proper government authorities should be addressed, which may lead them to trust the government and feeling of hostility could be transformed in to feeling of confidence and hope.
