It is a norm in police nowadays that proper standard procedures are not followed while transporting prisoners. Whether it may be for hearing at courts or checkup at hospitals, even leading terrorists have a police escort of a couple of cops, who also sometimes do not have even their own transportation facility.
Due to this practice, many dangerous and notorious convicts attempt daring escapes during this time frame and also succeed. This presents a situation where hardened criminal and terrorists roam freely in the society and it becomes even more difficult to put them behind bars again.
