Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad will pay a visit to Pakistan in the near future.
According to Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi, Ahmadinejad would participate in the trilateral summit of Iranian, Afghan and Pakistani presidents.
Salehi added that talks are underway to determine the date and program of the president’s visit.
The last meeting among the leaders of three countries was held in Tehran, in June, 2011, where the three leaders agreed to expand and strengthen trilateral cooperation for peace, stability and development in the region.
