Flying all the way from London, Faz has returned to the capital to give the city latest brand in skin and hairdressing treatment with the launch of FAZ ‘Signature Salon’ in a glitzy red carpet reception here on late Monday night at L’atalier- a house of fashion.
With the brand’s new addition of FAZ Signature Salon at L’atalier, the fashion house has now become a complete range of ladies ware, accessories and salon, where the emphasis of service is on technique and attention to the smallest details.
Rezz Ali Shah of Rezz PR and Events arranged the event which was thronged by elite socialites on the city including Alizy, Roshany, Mahwish and Zeenya— all young models clad in scarlet.
Faz has been a Skin specialist; micro-surgeon and professional makeup artist for the last 17 years, running successful salons for more than fifteen years. With so many years of experience, Faz has made a reputation and her services have been acknowledged by various TV channels and magazines and giving her the best therapist awards.
Talking to Pakistan Today, Faz said she had established herself in the Hollywood and Bollywood, becoming a makeup artist to many celebrities for TV, movies and stage shows acts. Late Benazir Bhutto had also been among her clients.
Fluent in Urdu and English, Faz is a single mother with a couple of kids. She said her work did not just stop at the expected makeup; rather her cutting talent and her passion for her profession had led her to explore her art.
Qualified from the London Film Academy, Faz’s sense of perfection has gone beyond beauty and makeup. She is also established filmmaker; her increasing interest in TV and film has led her to become an iconic image herself. Faz has been under the spotlight, hosting TV breakfast shows globally on various channels.
She is now a lecturer in makeup and beauty techniques, teaching all she knows to those who want to learn.
Faz is also a member of chamber of commerce; she works for several NGOs and is an active UK representative of the Make-A-Wish Foundation Pakistan.
“For my Pakistan opening, I will be introducing semi-permanent eye lashes, ‘’gel’’ manicure and MAC makeup. I am over ecstatic about setting up my salon under the roof of L’atalier,” she said smilingly.
La’telier, a French-inspired fashion house, opened in the capital in August last year. It is a brainchild of Ahsan Raza and his wife Sadaf Raza who conceived the idea while on a visit to Paris. They were inspired by the rich French interiors and felt the need to bring this experience to Islamabad putting everything under a single roof.
Talking to Pakistan Today, L’atalier Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Zahra Raza said that theirs is a unique concept for Islooiites who wanted beauty and style at the same place.
Zahra said the FAZ Signature Salon was a welcome addition at L’atalier, offering a wide range of haircuts, colours, manicure, pedicure, facials, waxing and massage therapy. She said all the branded wares and accessories would be on display on permanent basis at L’atelier on the Main Kohistan Road, F-8/3.
