The power riots can help only if they can keep PPP from winning the next elections. PPP will never move away from Benazir’s faulty policy of going all out for thermal power generation by rejecting the hydel option.
Thousands of tons of fuel oil is being imported while we have rivers running full of energy giving water. The president however does not lose any opportunity to praise her energy policy. The rioters have to be told who actually is responsible for the present situation.
