The population of the city is rapidly increasing. There is almost an explosion and to cope with this situation a good number of children and public parks have become a necessity. It needs hardly be emphasised that a public park is essential for the health and recreation of the residents. These are especially necessary for the growing children.
The citizens have approached the municipal authorities in this connection many times but our proposal was put to cold storage on one pretext or another. A suitable piece of land is available for the much needed park. I would also like to suggest that in all the localities of the city, there should be parks. The concerned authorities must do some thing in this connection.
