Kashmir is the least priority on the list of Indian policy. Millions of Kashmiris are being killed by the Indian military. They are still waiting for an amicable solution to this problem and for India to honour their right of self-determination. Their freedom struggle is keeping the hope alive.

The UN’s resolutions have turned out only a piece of paper. India has not acted upon them for the last 64 years, defying the world’s conscience. India claims Kashmir to be its integral part. Pakistan has raised this issue at composite dialogue between Pakistan and India, but to no avail. The puppet regime installed by India in the disputed territory continues to commit atrocities against its people. The human rights violations are committed everyday and it also curbs the freedom of speech.

Now, even the Indian masses want to end this conflict for peace. This brings hope for the peace between the two neighbouring countries.

The writers, intellectuals, traders and filmmakers on both the sides have spoken candidly and asked the respective governments to solve the problem. There is a sense of urgency expressed by them for the solution of Kashmir problem.
