Pakistan Cardiac Society (PCS) Karachi Chapter has chalked out an elaborate program to celebrate the World Health Day on September 29.
PCS Karachi Coordinator Prof Khalida Soomro said on Sunday that theme of the occasion for this year is “One World, One Home and One Heart” and a public awareness seminar has also been arranged in accordance with the theme.
The seminar will be addressed by eminent cardiologists of the city as well as prominent citizens who may convince people, particularly about prevention from cardiac ailments on a personal level. “Camps will also be arranged at the cardiology departments of different hospitals to motivate people to get examined and their heart condition assessed,” Soomro added.
