PML-Q forms body to launch membership campaign

Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) has constituted a committee to launch membership campaign at Union Council level. This was disclosed by PML-Q central leader and federal minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi here on Saturday. He alleged that PML-N’s chief Nawaz Sharif did not believe in politics of principles, as his party held a PhD in rigging.
Elahi, who is also president PML-Q Punjab, made these allegations while formally announcing party ticket to Pir Muzaffar Shah Khagga for PP-220 (Sahiwal-1) by-polls at State Guest House on Saturday. He alleged that PML-N was habitual of rigging and in the last four years. On this occasion PML-N leaders from Sahiwal including Muhammad Aslam Dhakku and Mehr Ahmed Hasan Sial announced joining the PML-Q, while Elahi welcomed them and said they would prove an asset for the party in the upcoming by-polls of PP-220.
