The flood havoc in Sindh is a combination of local rains and the monsoon flows from up country. This is the time to explain to the people of Sindh that only Kalabagh dam can stop the monsoon flows from Kabul, Chitral, Swat, Haro and Sohan rivers to reduce the flood damages in Sindh. Tarbela, Bhasha or any other dam on the Indus cannot do so. The floods are going to increase every year because of global warming. What are we waiting for? PML(N), which claims to be a party of Sindh also, has a responsibility to take a lead in this matter, knowing that PPP will not do so for well-known reasons.
