Peace in Karachi

It is sad to see the increasing percentage of target killings in Karachi. The people who die in the target killings are common motor mechanics, labourers, masons, workers and pedestrians. The Karachi police has failed to control these killings.

The financial capital of Pakistan, Karachi, is Pakistan’s premiere centre of banking, industry and trade. These target killings hit the financial capital badly and are working as speed breakers for the national progress. This problem needs to be solved once and for all. The citizens of Karachi want nothing but peace back in the city.

I hope the authorities will take immediate action in controlling the killings in Karachi and we the citizens of Karachi must promote a culture of tolerance if we are to put a full stop to such activities.
