Education has to do with demand and supply. Pakistani education system is becoming extraordinarily expensive day by day. This has resulted in low pace of education among the deprived classes of our motherland.
Private institutions have provided uncountable amenities while the government institutions are devoid of basic facilities like electricity. Every parent desires to send their kids in private institutes where their children can groom themselves and get superior education.
It is out of the question for a common person to get his children admitted to a reputed school. For a poor labourer, it is impossible. Many government schools exist on paper only. School buildings, mostly in rural areas, have converted to drawing rooms for local landowners or cattle sheds. We are also facing high dropout rates, particularly at primary level, because of incredibly expensive education.
The government should regularise private institutes to control their fees. The government must look into the education sector and take revolutionary steps to improve it. The primary education sector also needs to standardise according to the current education systems. The most vital step is to end corruption in public education departments.
