30 murder cases traced

Islamabad Police resolved a total of 30 blind murder cases, collected vital evidences against the culprits and submitted the challans in the courts concerned during the current year. Inspector General of Police (IGP) Bani Amin Khan assigned the special task to all police stations of Islamabad to resolve murder cases and provide relief to the families of victims. He, in his directives, said there was no alternate to life; however, it was a responsibility of police to trace the killers of innocent people and provide justice to the bereaved families, says a press statement issued on Tuesday. He directed the officers to give priority to investigation of murder cases and book the culprits.
Following the orders, Islamabad Police, including the CIA, worked hard to resolve the blind murder cases and succeeded to trace out the accused involved in 30 cases after collecting forensic as well as other vital evidences, while using every available resources and latest investigation techniques. The Golra and Shehzad Town police stations traced out three and four murder cases respectively.
The number for other police stations is: Kohsar (5); Industrial Area and Aabapara four each; two each for Sihala, Koral, Margalla and Bhara Kahu; and one each for Secretariat, Shalimar and Sabzi Mandi.
