Agriculture Minister Punjab Malik Ahmed Ali Aulakh assured the press that the dengue fever epidemic will soon be controlled in the province. Talking to a private news channel, he said Chief Minister Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif is personally supervising the situation to curb the spread of the dengue virus in Punjab. Aulakh said an emergency situation had been declared at hospitals in Punjab, drugs were being imported from abroad and pesticide sprays were being conducted in all areas to control mosquitoes.
