GCU opens MS/MPhil admissions

The Government College University (GCU), Lahore is going to start admissions to MS/MPhil programmes from today (Thursday).
The university this year is offering admissions to MS/MPhil in 22 disciplines. GCU Registrar Anjum Nisar said that students who have qualified NTS GAT and hold minimum 16 years of education with at least 2.5/4.00 CGPA or 60 percent in MA/MSc/BA/BSc (Hons) or equivalent degree will be eligible to apply. He said that students having at least 2.0/4.00 CGPA or 50 percent marks in MA/MSc/BA/BSc (Honors) or equivalent degree could apply in English Language and Literature, Islamic Studies, Persian and Urdu. Nisar said that the last date for submission of forms is September 15. The tests for admission to the programmes will be conducted by the departments concerned.
