It has been learned that the FPSC has forwarded a proposal to the Prime Minister for the third time to extend the age limit for the CSS exam. Previously, the same government had declined the same proposal twice. A few months ago, the FPSC Chairman approached the president and enlightened him about the bad performance of the candidates belonging to smaller provinces due to low standard of education in those regions.
If the government is really sincere in alleviating the grievances and addressing the issues of the youth belonging to smaller provinces, then it is compulsory that it raises the age limit in the CSS exam up to 33 years because it takes a longer time for a candidate belonging to the middle class to compete with the candidates having sound educational background. Therefore, I request the PM Gillani to raise the CSS age limit up to 33 years and earn the honour of executing this long awaited move.

Css age limit is kept at 28 years which is a great injustice to the aspiring youth of pakistan. I wonder how mindlessly Musharraf reduced the age limit. I request President Asif Ali zardari and Prime Minister yusuf raza Gillani to immediately grant 5 years general age relaxation in the css exam so that all the affected and wounded candidates can make up for the loss. Till how long will these politicians keep playing joke with this nation?
I request Chief Justice as well to take suo moto notice of this great injustice to the css aspirants.
Pakistan deserves better officers and a better bureaucracy than this.
The age limit in css exam must increase from current 28 years to 33 years, so that all the affected and suffered students can make amends for their destiny. Musharraf is gone and so should his foolishly-devised policies. Executive magistracy should be restored and the rule of law prevailed.
I request the authorities concerned to take notice and balm the bleeding wounds.
