In order to improve the ailing economy and bring perpetual peace in the country the following steps may be taken on war footing basis:
Firstly, regulate the growth of mega cities of the country, no more flow from other parts of the country and illegal immigrants. Deweaponise the city, disarm the militant wings of political parties and deport the illegal immigrants estimated to be more than eight million from various countries living in Karachi and burdening on our economy. This formula may be applied throughout the country phase by phase but immediately kick off from the troubled Karachi.
Secondly, access to justice and the due delivery of justice may be revolutionised. The subordinate courts may be equipped with the necessary manpower and means so that they are able to emulate the superior courts in the speedy and easy administration of justice. However, requisite amendments in the law of the land must be brought without any hum and haw.
Rationally speaking, our rulers must keep in mind that access to justice is the pathway to peace and progress. It is only justice, nothing but justice, which can bring peace and progress, not only in Karachi but also in other areas of the country.
