The news spread like wild fire on all the social media networks in Pakistan; the news that no family would want to hear. Another atrocity got pounded on the family of slain ex-governor Punjab Salmaan Taseer: first his murder and now the kidnapping of his son. Shahbaz who was out with his friends in the Gulberg area was kidnapped during daylight hours in Lahore.
This perturbing incident has occurred in the heart of our country speaking of the failure of our law enforcement agencies. This sends a clear message to every citizen living in Pakistan that it is no more safe out there.
