On contradictions

The Pakistan army is supposedly practicing secular values where the personal faith of any officer has nothing to do with his duty but it insists that it has the duty to defend Pakistan Islamic ideology.

Pakistan is an Islamic State then why do the practicing Muslims, traders, businessmen increase the prices of items of daily use particularly food items during the holy month of Ramzan every year.

Most of the feudal politicians are sending their children to foreign countries to acquire best quality education but are not allowing schools in their constituency for poor people who work on their land for livelihood.

We live in a democracy where parliament is supposedly supreme but every Pakistani knows without a shadow of doubt that military establishment is supreme although it is one of state institution under the federal government.

Every leader of the political party uses democracy to acquire power but is not having democracy within their party.

Our society is littered with such contradictions. Only when we consider them seriously and try to rectify them can we be on the path of change.
