Unidentified armed men opened fire at a police bus in Orangi Town, killing at least five police commandoes and injuring DSP among 40 others, a private TV channel reported late on Friday night.
The channel reported that the armed miscreants opened fire on the bus of elite force police commandos as result five commandos were killed and 40 others injured. The DSP is among the injured police. Majority of the police commandos were in plain clothes.
Two miscreants were also killed in retaliation of police commandos. The bodies and injured rushed to Jinnah Hospital where emergency has been declared. The condition of some injured is said to be critical. According to the police, 10 suspects have also been arrested.
