Within two days, at least 33 people, including the former MNA and veteran Baloch personality Waja Karim Dad, his friend Sadruddin Bhai and five Baloch, four of them football players, were brutally killed as reported by the media.
It appears some people are bent upon to wipe out the innocent Baloch people living in Lyari and its adjoining areas by wrongly labelling them members of Lyari gang warfare whereas our Sindh Home Minister Manzoor Wassan is sadly busy all the time in dreaming.
The Sindh government in order to hide its failure in protecting the lives of innocent people is encouraging propaganda that killings were the result of so-called clashes between two groups of gang warfare. Nonetheless, killing of innocent people continues unabated.
I hereby condemn the killings of these innocent people, particularly the Baloch people who are peaceful and quiet citizens of Lyari, and at the same time request Balochistan government to come forward and save the lives of innocent Baloch people living in Lyari and adjacent areas by taking up the matter with the Sindh government as well as the federal government.
