Water shortage has hit the slums of Muslim Colony situated behind the President and PM secretariat due to which the inhabitants are facing problems. The residents said that there was no proper water provision system in their area. They told that 12 tube wells were installed in the colony out of which 9 have become dysfunctional. They said that the three functional tube wells are insufficient to cater to the needs of the inhabitants and a long queue is witnessed at the tube wells. They demanded of the concerned authorities to look into the matter and rectify the situation.
