At least 85 villages of Bajwat have been flooded due to overflow of River Jammu Tavi in Sialkot on Saturday, SAMAA reported.
The affected villages’ land connection with other areas has been suspended due to overflow of floodwater in the river located closeby.
Also, the fast raging water has destroyed farmland stretched on hundreds of meters in the surrounding areas while the people have been stuck at homes.
As per concerned authorities, the water inflow in River Tawi at Marala level is 15,500 cusecs whereas the outflow in River Chenab is being recorded at 1,12,805 cusecs.
