There are many in our society from the top brass to the common man, who are advocating military rule not realising how detrimental that will be for Pakistan. We must not give up on democracy as this is the only way forward for Pakistan.
Those who are condemning the present government are doing so for their own agendas while in fact the PPP government is working very hard in the situation that it was handed. While its performance may be wanting, much of the criticism is for criticism’s sake for political point scoring.
The government is performing under very tough conditions and given the current scenario when there is so much international pressure to do more in terms of the war on terror, it is performing quite admirably. Rest assured that this country is not going under, not today, not ever. Pakistan is a very resilient nation and it will only get stronger.
