Inspector Gen (IG) Frontier Corps (FC) Maj Gen Ubaidullah Khan has said FC and Police are taking action against those found responsible in Kharotabad incident in the light of inquiry tribunal report.
He said this while talking to journalists here in FC headquarters Wednesday. He told All Balochistan Youm-e—Azadi Pakistan Jirga will be held on Independence Day which will be attended by patriotic tribesmen, social and political leaders from across the province.
He went on to say that certain elements dupe innocent people in the name of employment and take them to foreign countries where they subject them to violence and deliver them to wrong hands.
All the departments should work together against the drug trafficking, he stressed. FC has endeavoured to seek release of the victims of drug traffickers, he pointed out. Steps are being taken to secure release of other trapped persons, he added. Earning livelihood in the free atmosphere of Pakistan has no substitute , he remarked.
He told army chief would inaugurate Moosa Khel Mineral Development project after August, 14.
