Mir Akmal Raisani, the nephew of Chief Minister Balochistan Nawab Aslam Raisani was buried on Saturday in Kanak of Mastung district.
Akmal Raisani, 14, was seriously injured with twenty-four others including twelve police men in a remote controlled bomb blast in Mastung town yesterday after a football match while his father Nawabzada Siraj Raisani escaped unhurt. Akmal Raisani later succumbed to his injuries at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH).
The CM, who was in Islamabad, air-dashed to Quetta at night while his brother and the PPP’s former provincial president senator Nawabzada Lashkari Raisani also reached from Karachi. A large number of provincial ministers, political leaders of different parties, government servants and tribal elders attended the last rites of the CM’s nephew.
