PPA launches literary magazine

PPA publications have published the first of many to come editions of Solidarity International (Tracing Literary Tradition and Ingenuity). The bi-monthly magazine is devoted to English literature written by writers of Pakistani origin living home and abroad. The chief editor of the magazine is a renowned journalist Khalid Athar and the magazine is edited by Pakistan Academy of Letters Editor Khurram Khiraam Siddiqui. The magazine includes English poems by Zulfikar Ghose, Ejaz Rahim, Prof Fawzia Afzal Khan, Nilofer Sultana and others. In the poetry section, every poem is artistically illustrated by some image or painting by Art Editor Khurram Shehzad. The prose section includes internationally renowned Pakistani fiction writer Bapsi Sidhwa’s article on Iqbal and Annemarie Shimmel and two pieces by Muneeza Shamsie.

I am really glad to know that at least someone is taking initiative to revive literary tradition as no other English magazine is paying any attention to this very area, as per my knowledge, as I have been searching for so long a magazine like that. my query is the same as of Asad's. will you please tell me how can I participate in it?? because i really want to..

  3. A.a.kum! I am willing to contribute to you magazine? Do u entertain the new writers. In fact, I am not new to writing or reading. I keep contribute my writings to english newspapers.
