LHC appoints judge to monitor judiciary’s corruption

The Lahore High Court chief justice has appointed Kazim Ali Malik, District and Sessions Judge (retired), as Director General Human Rights and Vigilance Cell, LHC, in BS-22 on contract.
According to a notification issued on Saturday by LHC Registrar Sohail Nasir, Kazim Ali Malik will be responsible for monitoring and dealing with issues of corruption relating to the establishment of district judiciary in Punjab.
His package of pay will be equal to minimum of Cadre-22 officer Rs 43000 which after including judicial allowances be about Rs 85700 per month. He also will enjoy TA/DA facilities as admissible to a Punjab Government officer in BPS-22.
