The government has decided to reduce gas supply to the captive power plants as per their requirements and they would enjoy no additional supply for generating power which is sold to the distribution companies (DISCOs). An official source said the decision was made considering the strike call by the All Pakistan CNG Association, which had been highlighting that point that all the gas shortage was directed to their sector, which brought the CNG retailers’ businesses to near closure.
The petroleum minister has directed equitable distribution of gas to all sectors so that no one is affected unduly in the upcoming load management plan. The details were being worked out and the proposed increase in gas tariff would be announced after their finalisation, the source said.

  1. This is unfair as the industry is paying triple the price of gas consumption in the shape:-
    1.Price of the gas used.
    2. Import duty on the industrial stores imported
    3. Then Export duty on its produced goods
Govt must re consider its decision.

  2. Pakistanis have no gas, no power and no food but they have one thing which no other country in the world has: the finality of Prophet Mohammed (pbuh). And towards achieving this dark distinction they tasted the blood of religious purification and loved it. So Christians and Shias were next. And now they should be happy that Pakistan is the 'pure' land it was intended to be. Ahmadis, Shias, Christians and others are like dogs and animals here.
Who cares if there is no electricity or cooking gas, or food to cook..
Pakistanis are proud dwellers of a fascist state…
