Recently, I travelled from Lahore to London on PIA after a long time. It was on 5 July and the flight no was 757. Usually I take other airlines for my trips but this time I thought that PIA must have improved by now.
To my surprise, the standard of our airline has fallen even more rather than getting improved. It is disgusting that after so many calls, the first appearance by a steward took more than two hours after the plane was in the air. During this time there was no water or sweet drops available. The food was substandard and cold, not fit for consumption of human beings.
On this eight-hour flight the cabin crew appeared only three times. I do not understand why the ticket is so pricey while the standard is so low. Other airlines offer better service and food with less or equal fair.
The cabin crew did try to please the passenger in the first class, totally ignoring the rest of the passengers.
