Communist Party of China’s Vice Minister (VM) Chen Jin on Saturday said 60-year-old Pak-China friendship was based on strong foundations and would be further strengthened with the passage of time. He said the friendship was reflective of mutual confidence, love and cultural relations of people of both countries. He was addressing a function held in honour Communist Party of China’s delegation in Punjab Jiang Su Cultural Centre.
Food Minister Chaudhry Abdul Ghafoor, Information and Culture Secretary Mohyuddin Wani, Punjab-China Bureau Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Sajid Yousafani, Addl. Information Secretary Tahir Raza Hamdani, Public Relations Director General Dr Muhammad Aslam Dogar and other officials concerned were also present. The VM said people of Pakistan and China were tied in unbreakable cultural and historical relations and the 60-year-old friendship was reflective this. The Information and Culture Secretary praised Punjab Jiang Su Cultural Centre for promoting mutual cultural relations by acquainting Pakistani people with Chinese culture, language and art.
