The Punjab Education Foundation (PEF) will provide free services of Science and English subject specialists to 92 schools in neglected areas of 17 districts of the province. According to a press release issued on Thursday, the aim of the programme is to enhance the learning of children in partner schools. Under the programme, PEF will fund master’s degree holder subject specialists to teach English, Physics, Biology and Chemistry to children. In this regard, a ceremony to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the PEF and owners of private schools was held at Plaque Auditorium, Ferozepur Road. According to the agreement, the PEF will provide 46 subject specialists to private schools in neglected areas of Sialkot, Mandi Bahauddin, Hafizabad, Gujranwala, Lahore, Kasur, Sheikhupura, TT Singh, Sahiwal, Okara, Pakpattan, Nankana Sahib, Jhelum, Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Attock and Faisalabad districts.
