The youth must be taught the real objectives behind the creation of Pakistan, Chairman Aiwan-e-Iqbal Arif Nizami said while addressing the inauguration ceremony of Summer Camp for Children “Iqbal kay Shaheen” arranged by Aiwan-e-Iqbal.
Arif Nizami said this could be learnt through th e thoughts of Iqbal and wisdom of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. Former Punjab chief minister and Markazi Majlis-e-Iqbal President Mian Afzal Hayat and Aiwan e Iqbal Administrator Nadeem Iqbal Abbasi were present at the occasion.
Arif Nizami said that Iqbal dreamt of a separate homeland for Muslims which was converted into reality by Muhammad Ali Jinnah. He reaffirmed the promise of making Aiwan e Iqbal a place of learning for children and adults to be able to spread Iqbal’s message. Addressing the occasion, Mian Afzal Hayat said Pakistan would have stepped onto the path of success had we tried to transform our children’s vision on lines of Iqbal and Jinnah.
The students at summer camp “Iqbal kay Shaheen” arranged for the children of ages 8 to 13 appeared eager to learn the thoughts of Iqbal and real purpose of Pakistan. The camp has several activities including children’s meeting with successful personalities from different walks of life to enable them learn etiquettes necessary for social life.
