As expected, the rich have been saved from the burden of taxes. Taxing them would have not mattered much as they are a very small percentage of the population. The government has to look after their interests as they matter. They are shouldering the burden of this ill-fated population. How could one ignore the interests of the presidency, the PM secretariat, parliamentarians and the like? The poor have to foot the burden of the rich, as their survival is very important. Without the rich, how can you run the government?
So well done to the officials, for presenting such a budget. Government benches besides the PML(Q) and MQM will help in passing the budget – poor PML(N) will only shout out their anger and settle with it .
The poor do not have to worry. The government is experienced enough now to print trillions of rupees every year. They will continue to get new notes. Remarkable indeed. The poor are not affected as they do not understand inflation, unemployment and rising prices.
The poor know how to live off the land.
